Sean Miller is a Norfolk, Virginia native who is an award-winning Educator, Artist, and Marketer. Sean is currently pursuing his Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Howard University. He received his Master of Education in Special Education from Regent University, Master of Arts in African-American Religious Studies from Howard University, and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Design from Old Dominion University. 
Sean currently serves as an Assistant Principal for Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia. He was previously a History and Social Studies Department Chair and Teacher. He has served as an Equity Lead and African American History and Culture for Educators instructor. Sean was recruited by his school district to conduct social studies curriculum audits in the areas of cultural responsiveness and antiracism. He received the Virginia Council for the Social Studies Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Excellence in Teaching Award in 2023 and George Washington’s Mount Vernon History Teacher of the Year in 2021. He is also currently an Adjunct Professor at Reach University.
Sean serves as the Associate Pastor at People’s Union Baptist Church (King George, VA). He has also been part of the ministerial staff at Fort Belvoir Gospel Service (Fort Belvoir, VA) since 2013.
In 2024, Sean was the author of two books published by Scholastic, "My Glasses Give Me Superpowers" and "The House of Hip-Hop". The books are a part of Scholastic's Our Stories Decodables series, which celebrates diverse voices and elevates foundational skills with culturally relevant decodable texts and targeted phonics practice. In 2020, Sean published "The Bible in Black Coloring Book" for children and adults. The Bible in Black is illustrated from a Black and Brown perspective. It highlights and depicts characters of the Bible in great detail through visual imagery.
Sean’s artwork has been displayed at venues including the Riverview Gallery, Crispus Attucks Theatre, and the Old Dominion University African American Cultural Center. 
A member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated since 2002, he is the President of the Old Dominion University Phi Beta Sigma alumni chapter. He served as the President of the Omicron Iota chapter and the Director of Education for the Omicron Zeta Sigma alumni chapter.
Sean is known in the Hip-Hop/Rap community as seanISrael, having performed around the country and opened for renowned music artists, including Kurtis Blow, John P. Kee, and Canton Jones. In 2014, he performed a Hip-Hop inspired rendition of “The Creation” in the Howard University theatrical production “God’s Trombones Revisited,” an adaptation of James Weldon Johnson’s “God’s Trombones: Seven Negro Sermons in Verse.” In 2020, Sean served as a writer and narrator for “An Ode to Hip-Hop,” sponsored by the Prince George’s County Chapter of Jack and Jill.
